Dr. Miles has dedicated more than 33 years of his life to medicine and patient care. His path in graduate medical education studying the anatomy and diseases of the jaw, head, and neck is rare and unique.
While the majority of cancer surgeons complete medical school and a single post-graduate residency, Dr. Miles clearly stands apart. He completed dental school, a dental residency, medical school, two surgical residencies, and an oncologic/microvascular fellowship. Dr. Miles spent 18 years in graduate medical education and training to enable him to provide best-in-class cancer care to his patients. He is among the world’s most highly-trained head and neck oncologists in advanced, complex cancer surgery and reconstruction.
